| About Me: |
I live and breathe projects. Taking ideas and making them real is a huge part of what gives life meaning for me.
Creativity and community can be oh so yummy. I aim to do as much as I can to improve the world. I'm a photographer, illustrator, and geek. I love people. If you collaborate with me on a project, I'll worship you. I'm in the process of seeking out collaborators and fellow conspirators to help with the Human Creativity Project.

Kelsey,
10/31/2003:
You want it. You want Julian's friendship and
love. You want his enthusiasm,
encouragement and energy. Because its real
and in full color. You want it like you want
butter not margarine, ganache not hershey's,
organic dark sumatra not folger's, and tongue
not spitless pecks. Forever not sometimes.
So there.

Jackie,
04/29/2003:
These
facts may interest you, but they mean
the world to me. The most curious and
inventive lover. The toughest guy in a
fight. The gentlest man in the room.
Loves insects, furry critters, the
clear turquoise edge of architectural
glass. He likes tightly woven
geometrical patterns, and math, and
well-commented code. He likes light,
and he paints with it. He likes
creative people, and wants them to live
and prosper and be happy. He is a
dedicated man with hippy punk roots who
strives for creating heaven on earth,
and who believes there is no greater
sin than making the world a worse
place. He loves plaid, and cotton
clothing, because the wool stuff itches
too much. He is a great soul, a
bodhisattva, and I love him profoundly.
You should know this.

see all the photos on friendster with white backgrounds? They're all julian's photos. he works too hard and we all win. julian will give you the shirt off his back: as an experiment i asked him for it over and over and over and now i have a drawerfull of them. but then when the situation calls for it he has big shiny brass balls. and he's pretty effin' hilarious, but his laugh is even funnier than he is. so when he laughs at his own jokes (40% chance), now *that's* funny!

if you listen closely when julian walks by, you
will hear the sweetest song of creativity, light,
and giving. every once in a while, there will be
a slight discord of mischievousness, but you
can usually hear it coming a mile off and it's
fun to watch it build. the song after is just as
sweet, but echoes with his laughter and you
smile on the inside knowing the world is a
better place because julian exists, singing his
song.

Christopher,

Julian's photo of himself says it all: How
could a man be any sweeter? This man is so
nice and kind and gentle! Sometimes I
wonder if he's too much so for his own good,
but I'm so glad he is who he is. He's also
quite creative and clever. His photos are
amazing and the ideas he has behind them are
simply brilliant. One time when I was
getting to know him, he smiled ear-to-ear,
rubbed my shoulder and said, "I like you!" I
like you too, Julian.

Aya,

Julian is one of my favorite family
members. Who has a cousin who
invites them to burning man and
gives them Ender's Game at age 11.
And he's got the most kick ass
girlfriend ever. I miss you guys!

Kelsey,

Once I saw someone be mean to Julian and I
cried for an hour. Julian merely shrugged at the meanness. Once
he saw a guy break his nose and he cried for an
hour. Thank you Universe, for Julian Scorpio
Cash.

Julian is more ebullient than I allow
myself to become, and that is OK.

Llyra,

I love Julian so much, because he is quite
possibly the most beautiful person I know.
There you have it.

Ironic Mouse,
10/10/2003:
I love randomness. Every once in a
while the cosmos align in such a way
that the most wonderful things happen.
This was the case when someone squeezed
a rubber ducky though my mail slot a
long, long time ago in a neighborhood
far, far, but really, not too far
away. Julian is an inspiration to
fuzzy furry creatures and humans
everywhere. He's a most fantastic
chef, you should try his edible light.
Yum!

Julian is an inspiration to anyone who
wasn't looking for any... cause it
seemed as though *BAM* *FLASH*, shit,
he did it again. Ran right in to his
camera that just keeps on clicking!
Love your art, Julian!

Suzanne,

He's fun. He's smart. He's soooooo
creative and full of neato ideas you
think the atmosphere around him will
just explode into a million rubber
lizards and wind-up toys. He's also a
good friend and one of the best people
you'll ever meet. The world is a little
brighter, a little more wonderful,
because of Julian.

Bonnie,

Julian vibrates at a high frequency. Look, he's
shimmering. He reminds me of flutey pipes
and pointy-eared mythic creature pals and the
good kind of monkeys. He's life-ticklish, what
doesn't tickle him?

julian is very neat. the best thing
about him is that he breathes.

Patrick,
04/29/2003:
Julian is tied with Kash for nicest person alive.
I told him this at Burning Man and he bellowed
"THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE!" and he stormed
off to the cafe where Kash was working, lept
over the counter, put Kash into a headlock and
repeatedly slammed the poor guys skull into
the espresso machine.
That's the kind of giving person Julian is.

Jackie,
03/30/2003:
A heat seeking artist. He shows every
sign of being the Next Big Thing. You
like yourself through his eyes. In his
world, the women are strong and the
men are pretty. I love his mischevious
streak, even when I smack him for it.

I've known Julian for some time now.
He's a good person. No really. It's
true. Please believe me. Please.

I still have the monitor lizard, mailed
to me in a ziplock bag!
Such great pictures. Such fun we had!
Wow, that was so many years ago...

Julian sees the world through very
wonderful, special lenses. His
photography is phenomenal.

Julie,

When I was much younger, I used to
come home from Sunday school resolved
to be a better person--to be more like
Jesus! Julian is one of those
people who is so excellent, that now I
go home wishing I were more like
him.
