Julian Snail: Julian is a photographer, cartoonist, and a computer programmer. These days all of Julian's time goes to The Human Creativity Project. It brings him great joy. Julian works long and hard - he is a creature of burning ambition and a passion to improve the world. He more or less dedicates his life to fostering joy for others. Jackie-Jack: Jackie is a writer, cartoonist, and tattooist. She has a quick wit, a kind heart, and a varied selection of ideas, which usually make her difficult to typecast. The same set of adjectives could be used to describe either jackie or julian, with slightly different emphasis. Charming, strange, sweet, interesting, intense. They are a couple. Allegra: Allegra is neat-o! She likes color, especially wearing a lot of it (like, red on red on red with red stripes). She has a zillion fun friends, many of whom helped her move in. She likes books, she likes reading stories aloud, and she reads comics (though she hasn't yet found her new local comics shop). She likes taking long walks, drinking many varieties of tea, listening to interesting (speculative, educational, spooky) podcasts, and convincing people to smell her head.


Kelly: Kelly is a movie buff. Actually, it goes much deeper than just "buff". Pick a movie, and start a conversation. He may know a bit about the finances of the movie or about the odd mistake with the screenplay that resulted in the best scene in the movie. He goes for video games, comics, and has a lot of books. Shortly after moving in to Meerkat Manor, he spent 7 hours ironing cloths and his 600 thread count sheet. He said it was actually kind of therapeutic.


Ivan: Ivan is laid back, open-minded, and as Randal says (with minimal sexual undertone), "surprisingly functional." Having just moved to SF from NY, he spends the majority of his time as an art director at a big ad agency. One part entrepreneur, one part culture fanatic, one part buddhist, and one part stoner, when not writing bios about himself Ivan likes to travel, hang out with (and oftentimes host) friends, make websites, and kick your butt in pool or ping pong.; IvanCash.com


Shaman Randal: Randal is a photographer, make-up artist, and HTML Druid. He has a unique and long list of interests, such as Macrobiotic foods, Renaissance costume, Radical Faerie life, experiments in clerical drag, and Japanese anything. He is incredibly intelligent, talented, generous, and fabulous. He has a good deadpan delivery, and likes to write ironic sayings on the whiteboard in an appropriate font. Jezebel: Tuxedo cats often spend their days reclining on the tanning bed or playing the cello. When Dan and Nicole got a new place, Jez cut a deal to move in with them. She was our best housemate EVAR.
